NACAC amends guidance regarding education agents

Short on time? Here are the highlights:

• NACAC has revised its guidance for US educators to strengthen the transparency provisions around the use of education agents
• Under the revisions adopted at the recent 2016 NACAC Assembly, US institutions will now be required to have their education agents disclose referral commissions to student-clients
• Institutions will now also be required to provide a ready mechanism for students to verify whether or not an agent has been authorised to act on the institution’s behalf
