• NACAC has revised its guidance for US educators to strengthen the transparency provisions around the use of education agents
• Under the revisions adopted at the recent 2016 NACAC Assembly, US institutions will now be advised to direct their education agents to disclose to student-clients when, and from which institutons, they receive referral commissions
• Institutions will now also be advised to provide a ready mechanism for students to verify whether or not an agent has been authorised to act on the institution’s behalf
