Monash University – Forging industry links – Strategic partnership with Linfox
Monash and supply chain company Linfox have announced a strategic partnership to provide leadership and executive education for Linfox staff, and drive industry research, innovation and technological advances across the supply chain network.
The multi-million dollar partnership brings together Monash world leading research and technological capability with the largest privately owned supply chain solutions company in Asia Pacific.
Linfox staff and Monash researchers will utilise the University’s virtual reality tools, advanced analytics and systems modelling expertise to identify technological advances aimed at enhancing supply chain capability.
“This partnership brings together Australia’s largest and most international university with one of Australia’s largest and most successful supply chain companies, demonstrating Monash’s long record of working with industry to translate world-class research into positive impact.
“Monash was recently identified as one of Australia’s most innovative universities in Thomson Reuters’ Asian “Top 75” innovation index and strives to develop solutions to the great challenges of the age,” Professor Gardner said.
Linfox Executive Chairman Peter Fox welcomed the partnership and said “Linfox is pleased to partner with Monash to deliver world-class education and training to our people and collaborate on research into industry-trends, innovation and technology.

Peter said Linfox and Monash shared a commitment to deliver on Australia’s innovation agenda “We need to innovate to stay on top of the game. We’re developing smarter, more efficient transport and warehouse operations for our customers by working with Monash on new ways to use advanced analytics”.
“We’re also inspiring our people to think differently about complex supply chain challenges, developing our own innovation hub based on Monash’s technology hub,” he said.
